Meet The Board Members
Randy & Molly Zimmerman
Molly is President of Saint Joseph Preserve, and League of Saint Martin Confraternity of the Holy Face at SJP. Randy is a SJP Board Member, specializing in upkeep of the land and machinery. Randy and Molly have been married since 1988 and are members of the Legion of Mary. Randy is a Family Practice Physician. Molly is a Chemical Engineer who, with Randy’s encouragement, decided to work at home as a mom, artist, Baptism and Religion Teacher, assist Randy with the land, and volunteer. They have five wonderful children. Randy’s lifelong mission to own land, care for nature, and enjoying the simplicity of spending time outdoors is God’s inspiration for the Saint Joseph Preserve. Together, they have grown together by teaching Marriage Preparation Classes, supported and participated in Eucharistic Adoration for over a quarter century, and have shared their passion to experience God in nature through operating the Paynesville Community Food Shelf Garden, scouting, backpacking, canoe trips, hiking, and outdoor athletics.
Randy regularly entrusts the care of his patients, family, and his understanding of how to follow the will of God to the intercession of Saint Joseph. Molly depends on special graces from her Guardian Angel, whose feast day is also her birthday, to grow in union with God and minister to others.
Father Aaron Nett
Father Aaron Nett is Spiritual Director for the Saint Joseph Preserve, in addition to his role as Pastor of the Father Francis Xavier Pierz Area Catholic Community. He attended St. Paul Seminary, was ordained in 2014, received formation as a Spiritual Director at the School of Spiritual Direction Institute for Pastoral Leadership at the University of St. Mary on the Lake, and held various pastoral positions including Pastor at The Church of the Assumption in Eden Valley, Minnesota. In addition to praying daily with the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, Father Aaron enjoys spending time with family and friends, many sports including baseball and basketball, fishing, gardening, traveling, holy pilgrimages, Eucharistic and Rosary processions, missionary work, canoe trips, and traveling with his parish. Father Aaron is a committed shepherd, uplifting the community through kindness and gently guiding souls to the Truth.
Mark and Kimberly Gibson
Mark and Kim reside in Paynesville, Minnesota and are members of St. Louis Catholic Church. They have two daughters and two grandchildren. They both retired in February of 2024 and are enjoying spending time with family and friends.
Mark is an active member of the church. He is a Eucharistic Minister, ministers to the homebound, and attends weekly adoration. Mark is the Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus St. Louis Council #3820. Outside of the church, Mark enjoys playing pickleball, bow hunting, playing golf and fishing.
Kim is also active in the church with weekly Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, making cards for youth mission trips, praying the Rosary, and accomplishing works of mercy for family, friends, and in the community as prompted by God. Kim enjoys spending time painting, reading, doing diamond art, and many other crafts.
Janet Binsfeld
Janet Binsfeld is Vice President of Saint Joseph Preserve, President of Legion of Mary at SJP and a member of the League of St. Martin Confraternity of the Holy Face at SJP. Janet is a retired Elementary School Teacher and actively supports her husband Dan, married for forty years. Together, they built and ran two successful businesses, Koronis Tire and Rosebud Campground, raised 6 children together including two adopted children from Russia. Janet’s charisms in parish life are teaching, hospitality, choir and pro-life. Janet is continually learning about and growing in the Catholic Faith, which she puts to good use. With her birthday on the Exultation of the Holy Cross, Janet life story exemplifies the triumph of love over suffering as given by Jesus in His passion, death and resurrection.
Leroy Schlangen
Leroy Schlangen is the Recording Secretary for Saint Joseph Preserve, is 84 years old, and lives in Roscoe, Minnesota. Leroy is also the recording secretary for the Knights of Columbus St. Louis Council #3820. In the past, he has served as Grand Knight for the St Louis Knights of Columbus council 3820 of Paynesville. For his career, Leroy worked as a dairy farmer but is now retired. For his educational experience, Leroy attended the St John School of Theology for six years. Leroy is active in teaching religion, participates in Bible studies at church, and is a member in the church choir. His wife, Peggy, for 49 years died in 2022. They have one son. James, and a grandchild, Marlie.
Connie Golat
Connie Golat is Treasurer for Saint Joseph Preserve and Treasurer for Holy Mary Spouse of Saint Joseph Praesidium of the Legion of Mary at Saint Joseph Preserve. Connie graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design, followed by a master’s degree in Landscape Architecture in 2009. Connie has one teenage son and works as a Landscape Designer. She creates beautiful outdoor spaces for people to enjoy using her knowledge of plants and construction materials using computer aided design.
Connie enjoys attending daily Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, singing her prayers, is an active member of the League of Saint Martin Confraternity of the Holy Face of Jesus at SJP, and the Seven Sisters Apostolate of Eucharistic Adoration for Priests. Connie’s exuberant love for God is evident in her ability to communicate her love and joy to others.
Mike Rajkowski
Mike Rajkowski works as a Lawyer currently specializing in personal injury, and wrongful death cases. He graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Mn. In 1988. Mike grew up in Saint Cloud in a strong Catholic family with seven older siblings, attended Cathedral High School, and St. John’s University. With his broad range of skills in legal matters and strong Christian ethic for serving others, Mike has been an adjunct Professor at the St. Cloud Technical and Community College, chaired the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce’s Business Development Council, and was president of the Tri-County Humane Society and New Beginnings. Together, Mike and his wife Patrice have three beautiful daughters. Patrice is an accountant with CentraCare Healthcare System. In his free time, Mike enjoys being an active member of the Knights of Columbus, enjoying friends and family, traveling with Patrice, Adoring Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, and walking the two dogs with Patrice. Mike has been an anchor of strength and confidence for his family and the Saint Joseph Preserve.
