Vision & Aspirations

Saint Joseph Preserve aims to be a dynamic non-profit institution that helps lay Catholics, Ordained, Religious, and all who come, respond to what Saint Pope Paul VI called the “universal call to holiness.” Saint Pope John Paul II clearly articulated this “True holiness does not mean a flight from the world; rather, it lies in the effort to incarnate the Gospel in everyday life, in the family, at school and at work, and in social and political involvement.” – From his Message to participants in the Seventh International Meeting of the Catholic Fraternity of Covenant Communities and Fellowships, (November 1996). The Saint Joseph Preserve logo is designed to be a reminder to bring all parts of our lives to God in prayer, repent, and reverently participate in Holy Mass, Sacraments, and Eucharistic Adoration.

Saint Joseph Preserve assists souls in forming a deeper relationship with God through traditional kinds of Catholic prayer. Saint Pope John Paul II shed light on the transformative power of prayer when he said, “Prayer can truly change your life, for it turns your attention away from yourself and directs your mind and your heart towards the Lord. If we look only at ourselves, with our own limitations and sins, we quickly give way to sadness and discouragement. But if we keep our eyes fixed on the Lord, then our hearts are filled with hope, our minds are washed in the light of truth, and we come to know the fullness of the Gospel with all its promise and life.” – From his Address to the Young People of New Orleans, (September 12, 1987).
